7 years!

Here is a walk down memory lane of the past 7 years of our wonderful marriage! I can't believe that it has been 7 years already. I remember like it was yesterday getting ready for the 'big' day and how giddy I was to be getting married. :o) Holy Cow, that was so much fun! I was so excited to start Greg's and I's life together. It has been 7 years filled of joy, love, tears, fun times, and so much more. I love Greg so much and I appreciate all that he does for me and for our family. We will be a family forever and knowing that is so incredibly awesome! Greg is an amazing Dad too. The kids just adore him and when he's around, Mom comes in 2nd FOR SURE! Here is a little walk down memory lane for you all to enjoy. I love you Greg. Happy anniversary! Greg and I on our wedding day.....whoa, we look young! (2002)

Hair Today...Gone tomorrow!

Oh how we love hair cuts....most of the time! Emma was playing oh so wonderfully at Grandpa and Grandma's house in their wonderland of toys in the basement when I went to 'check up' on her and Carter. Well, the little sneaks had found the kids safety scissors and decided their hair was too long. (I loved it!) Anyway, of course Breann was out of town (Emma tends to cut her hair whenever Breann leaves) so we pulled it back and waited it out. Luckily Breann can work wonders with scissors and her knowledge because here is our Emma now! I think it makes her look so much more grown up too! Thank you Breann!
Cute Cute!!

Today Carter thought Cody needed more Cheerios. Wow, this might take some time to eat all those! (yes the high chair is in the living room....we don't have a functional kitchen currently)

And lastly....we are in the potty training days again, oh wait, we haven't left this stage yet. ;o) Carter is pretty much potty trained! YAY! We still have some accidents, but for the most part, he is doing great!

Here is our trip to get big boy underwear. Carter couldn't wait to try them on! :o)

Stansel Family

Hi all. I just thought I would let you all know about this LDS family in Texas that was expecting sextuplets. She just gave birth to them at 24 weeks and are unsure of their survival at this time. You can check out their blog here: http://stanseljourney.blogspot.com/
Please keep this family in your prayers!!!

SuMmEr TiMe

Oh the joys of summer time! We have been having a blast this summer doing all sorts of fun things. I have decided that I am so behind on updating this blog since, like, forever, I decided to just start now and maybe sometime I'll get the chance to update the past happenings. Wish me luck!
Anywho, on to the fun stuff. Here is a few things we have been doing lately...

Our first pickings from our garden...zucchini!

We have some awesome friends that have a lot of raspberries and let us come and pick some! YUMMY Cody is growing so fast! 7 months already! He loves to eat food and watch whatever Carter and Emma are doing. This front part of his hair always goes to one side, like a little mini comb over. :o) He has the best hair! It does what it wants to. :o) So cute!

Cody is now sitting up and trying so hard to crawl. He loves to unload all his toys from his baskets.

Oh, we made the funnest cupcakes! (thank you Cylista for the idea!). Tye Died cupcakes! Yes, they look so cool! The kids had a ton of fun making (and eating) them. So easy too...here they are before we frosted them.

And after they were frosted, broken in half, right before they were devoured! YUM!

OK, so they really aren't hard, just divide your cake batter into separate bowls (however many colors you want, we did 5) and food color each one the color you want. Then put a scoop of each color in the muffin tin and take a tooth pick and give it a little swirl **not too much** and vwaala!Carter enjoying his cupcake.Emma loves to bake and she thoroughly enjoyed this day!

On a side note, I finally got up wake boarding! YAY! It was for more than 30 seconds too! :o) I know, some of you are pros at this sport already, but I had never done this sport before until now. It was a blast! Sadly, no pictures of my triumph, we forgot the camera. I for one will not be forgetting this awesome feat!

So here's to more summer fun days ahead of us. We hope you are all enjoying this fun time of year!
