Short Snow Day

Most snow days in Colorado last only a few hours.  This day was no exception.  It snowed overnight so the boys were eager to get out to play in it and make a snowman.
Carter was singing "once there was a snowman"
They were having the cutest conversation about how the snow was made.
 Snow angels.
And the snowman!  He was pretty small so they called him their little brother :)
Emma was so excited to come home from school and be able to play in the snow; sadly, it was completely melted by noon and she had to wait until the next snow storm came.

March

March was a fun month for us.  We didn't have a whole lot of important things to accomplish other than living life.  It was full of fun memories and exciting happenings.  One thing I got to do was have a break one Saturday to visit the Home & Garden Show in Denver.  Babysitters were found and Chrystal & I headed for some much needed mom time :)  We even met an HGTV legend!  It was awesome!
The kids have enjoyed finding all the indoor and outdoor play areas Colorado has to offer.  This indoor place is one of our favorites.
 Cody loves sporting sunglasses.
Emma is very creative and loves to build things.  I think she put this bulldozer together at least 15 times this day!
Here is another fun park we visit often.  I love these kiddos!
Many afternoons were spent reading and cuddling.
This park is super fun in the summertime because it has water features, but it's fun in the early spring as well.  Cody has started to be very adventurous lately.  He was a little skeptical this day though.
 Emma having fun.
I love this picture of Carter.  He has to be pretty excited about something to get this big of a smile with him!
 Movie theater time!
When we get together with extended family, the kids can be very creative sometimes.  This time they had created a band and performed for the adults; costumes and all.
Singing and dancing was a must :)

A blast from the past...

I can't believe I'm actually posting these, but it was my past and I ran across a few photos from ages ago that were pretty fun.  :)  Here was middle school cheer with a bunch of friends.  Elise will just love me for posting this one too :)
When I turned 11 I knew I was now old enough to go on the much anticipated fishing trip with Gramps and Grams Cammans.  My grandparents would take all the grand kids that had turned 11 that year on a special fishing trip for a few days.  Here I am with my 2 cousins Joe & Tad.
We had so much fun!  I will never forget our paddle boat adventure.  Gramps had to come quickly after us after we had traveled down the river too far.
My Grandpa taught us so much about fishing.
We went to Yellowstone and visited the bear museum.
Thanks for the wonderful memories Gramps & Grams!  We even caught fish & yes we had to clean our own fish :)
Here I am 17 years later at Grams 80th birthday party in California.  Time sure flies when your having fun!

Family Time

It was a silly day in the Cleverley household.  It was time for funniest home videos and during the commercials we had fun snapping a few shots.
 Me & my boys
 Daddy & Carter
The best shot of us all :)
We found some jumbo sized marshmallows and had to try them out for dessert one night. (try playing chubby bunny with those mallows! whoa!)
Later that night we found both boys sprawled out in the same arm position.  Pretty cute :)
I had to capture this one on camera...they DO love each other :)
Emma loves reading to the boys
We made some yummy desserts for our family dinner...this was a huge hit! YUM!
And we celebrated Chrystal's birthday @ the dinner.  Happy b-day!

Cousin Time

We are fortunate to have lots of family around.  Today we got to watch my nieces Gwen & Charly.  The kids were thrilled to have little ones to play with :)  Emma adores babies; Charly is no exception.
 Carter loves Charly as well.
Cody and Gwen played for the longest time together "baking" in the basement.
One time when I came down they were saying a prayer on their dinner.  Too cute!
 Time to eat!
And here's trying to get all of them in one picture.
 Try #2.
One last one of Carter & Charly
