The Childrens Museum

OOOOOO.  Chrystal introduced us to something that is magical.  Something that will fill all the boring summer days that are too hot to be outside.  Something that will be awesome during those cold/snowy days of winter.  What is it you ask?  THE CHILDRENS MUSEUM!!!  I guess coming from a small town out in the middle of nowheresville, I didn't know such places really existed. (Well, I knew the existed, I just didn't go to them often and I must say that man I miss that small town out in the middle of nowheresville)  :-(  Back to the subject...Okay, so this place is AWESOME!  My kids are in love with it and ask to go there everyday.  Here are some fun pictures of the few times we have been there so far...

On the first visit, I thought it would be fun to get a picture with the boys and the play fire dog, but Cody kept thinking it was a real dog and Carter thought it was hillarious that Cody would freak out every time the dog came closer.  This is the best we got. :o)

The Whole Foods Market was by far the favorite of this days adventure...
Carter was very serious about shopping (he really does love to shop by the way).  He had to fill his cart and check out, bag everything and then head to the kitchen to cook it all. Cute.

Cody pretty much just wanted to throw stuff in his cart and then run it into the wall.  He had a ball.

Emma loved being the check-out-lady and had so much fun pushing all the buttons.

Cody ordering from the menu at the kitchen.

The chefs busy cooking the food.

I love this picture.  It captures Carter's happy moments (which do seem to be a TON more often than not lately)  Carter loves to go places and see new things now.  He loves the museum visits.

Emma is so creative.  She loves to dance, sing, make-believe, and play with anyone.  She loved the dance floor and dressup area.  I think she was born to perform!  :o)

One of our next visits was a little calmer than the first.  We went in the afternoon and it seemed to be a little less crowded, but still a TON of fun!

Here are the budding artists painting away.  I love this picture!  I love these kids!

Here was Emma's masterpiece.  It was a self portrait...

On to the veterinary office.

Carter loved the x-ray viewer...maybe he'll be a Dr. someday???

And Cody, oh Cody, just wanted to chew on everything. :o)

And the last visit of the day was a TON of fun.  The huge legos that you could send up the ramp.  The kids absolutely adored it and we spent quite some time there.

It is so nice to be close to so many different things we can experience and so many places to have new adventures.  We are loving this phase of our lives, but still feel a deep sadness to be leaving our home.  This is how we are looking at it.  A house is just a house; a Home is where ever your family is.  We are here, our house is there.  We will soon have a new house and will  make it our Home once again.  So, on to a new week; new adventures; and we'll keep praying our house will sell!  :o)

PS-Anyone looking to buy a house in Aberdeen?  It's awesome!  Take a look here.

Family Photo Time

Oh what do you do on Easter Sunday?  We take pictures!  :o)  Well, besides conference, dinner, and all the other Easter Stuff that is going on.  I must say, this year went quite smooth thanks to Chrystal.  And I think we got some pretty amazing photos! Yippee!  Thanks Chrystal!  Here are some of my favorites...

But I do love the smiles in this one...

My men in my life...

The Cleverley Family

We do love each other...

And, our attempt to get Grandparents with all the grandchildren.  Haha. It was hillarious.  Sadly, this is the best we got.  Maybe next year...
