It won't be like this for long

Oh how love being a mother! I have cried and laughed and reminisced about how fast my kids are growing. They just melt my heart when they smile at me and hug and kiss me. Greg and I are so blessed! Above all else is my wonderful husband. His love is so unconditional that it makes me love him even more. Okay, this was all spurred on by listening to the song 'It won't be like this for long' yeah, I guess I'm a pansie for mushy songs. Here are some pictures of our family...

Here is my mom with all the grandkids...
Here is Emma & her cousin Kate at Kate's gymnastics birthday partyAnd here are my parents and the grandkids. I really think my parents have aged well. They have actually passed as my siblings instead of my parents..haha, that just either says that I look really old or that they look really young...you decide!

Now life isn't all roses. but today was nice to look past the tantrums, crying, fighting, and episodes of insanity to know that they will only be little once...

2 posts in a day...

Here was Emma's ballet number today at her performance. She performed at a hospital for the patients and the parents. She is the 3rd from the right...a beautiful pink cloud.

I also found this other video from January that made me laugh hysterically! I guess Emma was trying to get Carter to eat and I think the bowl was almost empty, not due to Carter eating it though...

Is Summer here Yet?

Every day Emma and Carter ask me "Is summer here yet?" and I reply with a "lets look outside". We have seen from snow to rain to a little sun and wind! Some warm weather has got to be coming soon or we'll all go stir crazy!

Some things we've been up to:
*Going to Colorado for a few weeks
*Real Estate School in Phoenix
*Painting/repairing spare bedroom downstairs
*Organizing
*Spring Cleaning kids rooms
*Making Strawberry Jam
*Sick kids and dr. apointments
*Tilling the garden
*cleaning up the yard
*Emma dance performances
*carter teething...2 year molars are a killer!
*Having Greg gone all for about 6 hours or so some nights (it's planting season)
*Having the kids ask, do we still have a dad? Just kidding :o)
*Playdates at the park
*The Denver zoo
*Snow
*Our cat had kittens! 3 little cuties, the kids are having so much fun with them.
*Cody learned to roll over yesterday!
*Emma learning her 2nd song on the piano....I'll have to post a video for your viewing
*Getting family pictures done.
*Spending time with Trisha (cuz) who came in from out of town.
*Buying a bike seat off craigslist (thanks Breann & Krishele for picking it up) I think I'll look hillarious going down the road pulling a double bike trailer and a bike seat on the back. haha, at least I'll be getting my exercise in.
*Scouts

Okay, that about sums it up, I do have pictures, but I needed to make a list before I forgot about it all. I will have some pictures from our colorado trip here soon (Chrystal has SO many more and has a great camera, so I'll wait for those to come in). We are looking forward to mothers day and honoring our moms, but also we get to talk to my brother Greg who's on a mission! yippee! We all missed talking to him at christmas because of the nasty snow storm, so this will be the first in a year! YAY!
