The 1st few days of summer were pretty low key. The kids were excited to have a lot more free time and spent most of it outside. They thought seeing the moon during the day was picture worthy...
Many bike rides were taken with Dad...
We spent the 1st Saturday of the month at our Home Depot making daddy some father's day gifts.
After building the gifts, we enjoyed lunch with the Chick fil a cow dancing to live music. The kids got a kick out of it!
Many days were spent playing in the water at home while mom spent more time being sick. The kids still love the trampoline and seeing as this was going to be one of the hottest summers on record this year, mom and dad loved the trampoline & water also! It kept the kids busy for hours of fun.
We took a little road trip to IKEA with some cousins and spent a few days at the library close to our house playing and reading.
We had a garage sale with our neighborhood....I just love getting rid of stuff! Emma made a ton of money selling lemonade. She was excited to buy something fun. (Can you tell it was another super hot day? Emma was SO hot that day!)
Our library is so cool. We had signed up for a few things/activities to do during the summer. This one was called Family Angry Birds. They had many different stations to go to and build angry birds and then different ways to knock them down. I think the kids had fun.
One day Emma spent a lot of time in her bathroom doing her hair for the day...I think it turned out super cute, don't you? :)
We went to cheer on more cousins at their last baseball game of the season. The kids loved playing in the dirt and watching Tyler play. Then it was bathtime!
