Papa & Grandma Cleverley came to pick us up to take us home and on the way we were stopping at a family reunion at Bear Lake. I have (surprisingly enough) never even been to Bear Lake. It was beautiful! I can't believe we grew up so close to such a beautiful place and never visited. Oh well, there is always tomorrow :)
Here are the kids waiting for the train ride around the campground.
Cody's silly face.
Train ride!
Directly after taking this picture the heavens opened and completely soaked us to the bone! We ran as fast as we could back to the pavilion where the family reunion was, but we were SO wet! That was a quick end to the reunion and we went back to the cabin for the night.
The cabin was right on the water. We basically slept, got up, ate, and got on the road to head home. It was a quick family reunion.
Cody enjoying the morning with mom.
Then he swiped my phone and started taking pictures of everyone. **photos from a kids point of view...**
It was fun to spend some time with Steve's siblings and get to know them all a little better. The kids did not sleep well that night and it took quite a bit of bribing to get Carter up this morning.
Cody & Emma ready to get home to see daddy!
Carter knows how to travel in style. Leapster, hat, & drink. The kids traveled so well that I had little to complain about :)
Thanks Dad & Mom for taking us on your road trip!
