Horses

My parents have horses & the kids were so excited to be able to ride them this summer while we were there.  1st my mom and Breanna had their riding lessons.

 Carter was a bit skeptical at first...

 But ended up loving it.

 Emma was super excited & even got her own private lesson for a while.

She was such a natural and was doing it all by herself within a few minutes.  She had no fear and even trotted by herself!  She is looking forward to her next riding session.  :)

We even got Cody on!  He doesn't like animals in general much, but we at least went for a little ride.

 Cody finally warmed up to Dynamite and by the time we had to leave, he was feeding him and calling him his own little pony.  :)

 Emma loved holding the chickens too!

 More time spent with the animals & dirt.

 Emma loves visiting Grandma & Poppy.  I love this picture...it reminds me of my childhood.  Boots, animals, dirt, space, fun, & family.  What more could a gal want?  :)

Yeah, sometimes I really miss Idaho.
