4th of July

We were able to see 2 firework shows this year.  Many of the shows were canceled due to the fires all around the state, but thankfully 2 cities close to us were still able to do them.  One was on the 3rd and the other on the 4th, so we decided to go to both.  First we started the day off with swimming!

 Then we went to some friends house in Erie to have a BBQ & then headed to the golf course for fireworks.  The kids loved running around waiting for the fireworks.

 Cody and Carter created a 'house' where they could hide when the fireworks got too loud.

 It was a great show!

On the 4th we all got together for our annual 4th of July BBQ.  Greg was hungry. :)

 Then it was fireworks time!  This is how Carter sat the entire time.  He loved it, but kept his ears plugged the entire time.

 Cody also kept those ears covered.
